Strawberry Freezer Jam -Very Easy!!

Strawberry Fields Forever!! Strawberry Freezer Jam is so Super Easy!! And Inexpensive only -4 ingredients fruit pectin I suggest low sugar (in canning isle), water, sugar and frozen strawberries! I had never made it before 3 years ago, jam sounded hard but it really isn’t, especially freezer jam, which is so much better tasting then regular jam, The fruit taste is so much stronger! (Also great to make a double batch and put into pint jars to give out to friends and family!) With fresh biscuits made the morning of Valentine’s Day, your whole family will love this treat and wait for it each year!

Mix strawberries and fruit pectin (for frozen jam) according to directions, on package, it will tell you how much strawberries to buy. Fresh in season strawberries are best, but frozen strawberries are made from fresh in season strawberries, which is better to use then out of season fresh flown in strawberries from some country. I let my strawberries thaw in a bowl for about four hours on countertop. I use juice and strawberries together to make jam. This jam is nectar of the gods!! I make fresh biscuits Valentine’s morning (Bisquick biscuits are just fine for this although I prefer Pioneer brand) and present my husband with his jam, I make 4 quart size jars, and let me tell you sometime around September he runs out of jam and is counting down the days till February 14. Other uses include : pies, short cakes, ice cream topping and milkshakes, and anything else you would want strawberries on.
