Fancy Heart Valentine







Materials:
Card Stock or Construction Paper - red, purple, or pink
Paper Heart Doyles - These can be found at Target or Walmart in the Valentines section or your nearest craft store
Glue
Markers
Stickers or Foamies

Instructions: Fold the card stock in half along the width. Then glue the heart doyle onto the card stock. Cut the card stock going around the heart (Make sure not to cut the top middle section of where the hearts bumps come together at the top. If you do then you will make two hearts instead of a card). You can be as fancy or creative with the border by adding a scalloped edge or using a fancy edged scrapbooking scissor. Have your child decorate the front of the card if you like and the inside. You can have them put a cute valentine's message on the inside of the card such as: I love you, My One and Only, Always and Forever, Yours Truly, Hugs and Kisses.....
