Black Forest Cheesecake Delight



Black Forest Cheesecake Delight 10-12 servings
Rich flavor, the kind of taste that will just stay with you.


9 inch spring form pan
1 C. chocolate wafer crumbs
3 Tbls butter or margarine, melted
2 - 8 oz. packages cream cheese, softened
2/3 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 - 6 oz. package semi-sweet chocolate pieces, melted
¼ tsp. almond extract
1 - 21 oz. can cherry pie filling
Frozen whipped topping thawed

Directions:

Crust

Combine crumbs and butter; press onto bottom of 9 inch spring form pan. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes.
Option 2 – Buy a premade chocolate graham cracker crust

Filling

Combine cream cheese and sugar, mixing at medium speed with an electric mixer until well blended. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Blend in chocolate and extract then pour over crust. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Loosen cake from rim of pan with a butter knife; cool before removing rim of pan. Chill in the fridge for 3 – 4 hours before serving. At serving top the cheesecake with pie filling and whipped topping just before serving.
