My name is Tricia Butler. I am currently a stay-at-home mom of four cute and adorable kids ages 10 - 1 1/2. I have been a stay-at-home mom for a little over 10 years and I have enjoyed the many enjoyable moments that come with being a mom! I have a passion for cooking and baking just like my friend Jessica (the other author), scrapbooking (I am beginning this new hobby), sewing, being creative, and playing with my kids.
I am not your usual mom where I just want to cook and clean all day. In fact, I would rather play outside and do fun creative things like side walk chalk, hide-n-go seek, tag, kick ball, croquet, play-doh, crafts, and blanket tents with my kids all day. Even though I would rather be playing with my kids, I do find time to try and cook, clean, and organize. I am learning more tips and tricks in this area and encourage all to improve in areas of parenting they feel they are lacking such as (spending time with kids, cooking, cleaning, taking time-out for oneself...).
In my spare time - which is not much - I like to read and have started in with the classics such as the Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis, Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens, Beowulf, and other books such as Harry Potter. I also love good music of many sorts from classical, country, to pop rock. Some of my favorite artists are Josh Groban, The Script, Goo Goo Dolls, and Keith Urban. Music helps me unwind from a busy day or helps lift the blues away.
